Hand Sewing Workshop - Scrappy Coil Work Trinket Bowl

Coil work is a great way to use up fabric scraps leftover from other projects! 

In this workshop, you will be taught how to make fabric coils and how to shape them into a trinket bowl or tray. This workshop includes two sessions. 

Skills covered will include learning how to do the blanket stitch, the whip stitch, what materials are best for use, how to achieve a basket shape, and how to add embellishments. We will also talk about color and design.

All materials will be provided to complete a 6” bowl but you are welcomed to purchase additional materials if you would like a bigger piece. Please bring small, sharp thread scissors or snips.
